Liz Gamboa

Elizabeth “Liz” Gamboa believes in building economies that help people, communities, and the planet thrive. As Executive Director of New Mexico Community Capital, she mentors entrepreneurs and champions regenerative, sustainable approaches to business and community development. A longtime advocate for resilient communities, Liz also serves on the board of Native Community Capital and supports young entrepreneurs through Siembra Leadership High School. Her career spans finance, technology, and startups, bringing a systems-thinking lens to the work of creating more equitable opportunities. Of Indigenous Mexican and Apache descent, Liz now calls Albuquerque home.
