Maida Ryan

Maida Ryan is a Sophomore at New Mexico School of Arts, where she studies in the Creative Writing and Literature department. She is a winner of the Estella B. Leopold Award for Creativity in the Aldo Leopold Writing Contest and was a Gold Key winner in the National Scholastic Awards for her short story, "The Cure for Loneliness." She is most at home on desert rivers and mountaintops, in the kitchen with four burners blazing, and lost inside books.
