Natachee Momaday Gray

Natachee Momaday Gray is an Indigenous poet, performer, musician, and multidisciplinary artist from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her work explores art and myth, ancestry and nostalgia, food and prayer, glamour, frivolity, and time. Descended from a lineage of storytellers, she honors oral tradition through poetry, performance, visual collaboration, and culinary arts. Writing in and beyond English and Spanish, she draws from the cultural memory of her Plains people and often performs as Tatja Lucía. Her debut collection, Silver Box (Finishing Line Press, 2023), received a Pushcart Prize nomination. Her forthcoming collection, Pan Dulce, explores ancestry, motherhood, food, memory, desire, pain, and pleasure. She lives in Coyote, NM with her family.
